Meet the friendly staff at Midway Small Animal Clinic

  • Dr.
    Nancy McGregor
    Doctor

    Dr. McGregor graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Grove, Oklahoma for 16 years before opening Midway Small Animal Clinic in 2002. She has a special interest in geriatric cats but loves puppies too. She is married to Bill, has two kids: Jill & Nick and three cats: Gus, Bushytail & Wild thing. In loving memory of her dogs Yoda, Sierra and Gish. Her hobbies include working and hiking with her family.

    Ashley Claunch
    Doctor

    Dr. Ashley graduated from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Prior to this she was a veterinary technician at Midway Small Animal Clinic for ten years. She is married to Nick and has a son named Gavin. She has two dogs: Penny and Sadie and two cats: Gillie and Princess Sugarfoot. She has a special interest in preventative care and internal medicine. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her friends and family.

  • Kayla Hermes
    Veterinary Technician

    Kayla has been working as a veterinary technician at Midway Small Animal Clinic for the past 8 years. She is married to Chris and has two children: Becca & Courtney. She has two dogs: Eli and Leo, three cats: Chip, Dale & Tula, thirty goats, two alpacas, one llama, one donkey, three chickens, nine cows, two horses and a pig she saved. Our favorite memory of Kayla, when the pastor said 'you may kiss your bride', her donkey brayed.

  • Makayla Guthier
    Veterinary Technician

    Makayla has been working in the veterinary profession for the past six years. She graduated from Locust Trace Agriscience Farm in 2014 with her veterinary assistant certification. She is married to Eddie and has one daughter, Nora. She has a dog, Budder and a cat, Jelly. She enjoys monitoring anesthesia and assisting during surgery. She plans on becoming a 'dogtor' and continuing to bring health and happiness to fur babies.

  • Natalie Allen
    Receptionist

    Natalie has been working in the veterinary profession for the past 15 years and has been a member of the Midway Small Animal Clinic for the last year. She grew up with dalmations and showing her arabian, Flame Walker. She is married to Mike and has one daughter, Ruby and a baby boy, Ellis, on the way. She has five dogs: Winnie , Tuck,  T'soi, Zuzu and Theo and three cats: Blackie, Penny & Toothless. Natalie enjoys exercising with her dogs and kids, hiking/trail walking and shooting. 

  • Pat Gibbs
    Receptionist

    Pat has been working as receptionist at Midway Small Animal Clinic for the past year. She has three dogs Haddie, Ester and Beau.  She enjoys taking her dogs outside to run, walking and going to church.  She has one daughter: Amy and one grandson: Chance. 

  • Rylee Beard
    Veterinary Technician

    Rylee has been a member of Midway Small AnimalClinic for the past 2 years. She has a biology degree from Midway University and plans on attending veterinary school. She has one cat named Mulligan. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with Mulligan and spending time with her friends and family. 

  • Gracie McClease
    Veterinary Assistant

    Gracie has been a team member at Midway Small Animal Clinic for the past 2 months. She recently graduated from Woodford County High School and Locust Trace Agricultural school, where she received her certificate in veterinary assistance. She plans on attending Bluegrass Community and Technical College, where she will major in the medical field. She has one dog named Paisley Faith. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

  • Katherine Kelly
    Veterinary assistant

    Katherine has been a team member of Midway Small Animal Clinic for the past two months and you can typically find her playing with patients or helping with appointments. Katherine will be a junior at Woodford County High School and when shes not at school or work, she is most likely riding her horse, Bravo, or playing with her English Golden Retriever, Maple. Katherine is looking forward to all of the new learning experiences she will get to have and will do it with a smile. 

  • Ciara Lyons
    Veterinary Assistant

    Ciara has been a team member at Midway Small Animal Clinic for the past two months, where she enjoys seeing clients and patients come in with a smile. Ciara grew up with an array of animals which initiated her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She plans on attending Bluegrass Community and Technical College in the fall and attending vet school. Ciara has two dogs, Max and George and a cat named Lilly. Outside of work, she enjoys drawing and riding horses.
